IV Conference of the Bulgarian Society of Breast Imaging
Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to invite you to the Fourth Conference of the Bulgarian Society of Breast Imaging, which will take place from May 16th to 18th, 2025, at the Rila Hotel, Borovets.
This year's conference will focus on breast cancer screening. The first day of the program will feature a "Breast Imaging School," primarily aimed at young specialists, residents, and colleagues looking to refresh their knowledge. It will include several sessions covering fundamental concepts in breast imaging, along with presentations on mammography, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and biopsy.
On the second and third days, you will have the opportunity to attend lectures by leading experts in the field, explore scientific research conducted by Bulgarian investigators, and meet representatives of innovative medical equipment.
The program also includes two practical courses. The first course will focus on the role of automated breast ultrasound screening in breast cancer prevention, presenting a new generation of ultrasound devices and their practical application in early breast cancer detection. The second training course will cover core biopsy under ultrasound guidance.
The goal of the Fourth Conference is to reinforce and consolidate the key concepts and imaging criteria for breast diseases while fostering a productive discussion on breast cancer screening programs.
