The Second Balkan Conference on Personalized Medicine will take place on October 24-25 at the Ramada Hotel, Sofia.
The main goal of the conference is to be a forum for sharing good practices in personalized medicine and discussing opportunities for partnership and regional cooperation between the countries of the Balkan region.
The conference complements the wide-ranging program of EAPM SMART Outlook. 'SMART' is an abbreviation for Smaller Member States And Regions Together.
SMART is a recognition that many healthcare innovations are being implemented in these countries. International cooperation and regional coordination are vital for the full integration of personalized medicine into European health systems.
The conference is organized by the Bulgarian Alliance for Precision and Personalized Medicine - BAPPM in cooperation with the European Alliance for Personalized Medicine - EAPM, Pleven Medical University and Scientific Society for Human Genomics and Genetics.
