Conference "Breast Cancer from A to Z", organized by the Bulgarian Alliance for Precision and Personalized Medicine - BAPPM, will take place on May 17, 2019 at the Ramada Hotel, Sofia.

The purpose of the event is to give a platform to all stakeholders to present their point of view and claim their place in the overall picture of the fight against this most common malignancy among women.

The forum will provide an opportunity to present the latest advances in screening, early diagnosis and therapy, as well as visions for even more successful interdisciplinary collaboration. The subject of the conference covers: screening, early diagnosis, precise diagnosis - genetic and molecular tests, pathological diagnosis, imaging, medical and combined treatment, surgical treatment, radiotherapy, monitoring of treatment results.

In order to turn the fight against breast cancer into a story of success and saved lives, political will and institutional support are needed to form a health policy to ensure all stages of a successful unified strategy with the relevant legal, regulatory and normative base.

Special guests at the event will be Prof. Dr. Nadia Dimitrova - Joint Science Center of the European Commission, Ispra, Italy, who will present the European Commission's Breast Cancer Initiative to ensure quality care and Mr. Denis Horgan - Executive Director of the European Alliance for Personalized Medicine.
