VI NATIONAL CONGRESS OF THE BULGARIAN ASSOCIATION OF NEUROSONOLOGY AND CEREBRAL HEMODYNAMICS
Acad. Prof. Tityanova is a guest in the show "Pulse", where she shares that art therapy can restore speech in people, who suffered a stroke. Brain training activates neurons, which deal with various problems and diseases.
The human brain has vast abilities, and medicine has gone deeper and deeper into its secrets every year, so that we can understand that with its help one can achieve unattainable successes in the health of all other systems. Stroke is one of the most unpleasant diseases that attack the circulatory system and affect the motor and speech ability of patients. Today, through art therapy, neurologists are helping such people to be treated far more successfully than conventional methods. This was shared in the studio of "Pulse" by Acad. Prof. Ekaterina Tityanova from the Military Medical Academy.
"Art therapy is a unique phenomenon, which the brain actually reorganizes. We have three participants in our exhibition who have had a stroke. "One of the women has even learned to handle her left limbs, often doing exhibitions, and in the meantime has regained some of her speech," said the neurologist. In medicine, there is growing evidence that human words can affect DNA. Acad. Tityanova is even convinced that positive words develop our genes in such a way that they can cope with diseases more easily, while negative speech suppresses them. "The brain is constantly changing, so it is believed that every five years we should learn a new skill. For example, if we learn more than two languages, then our generations will be much more flexible to news skills," she said.
