Тhe third scientific conference of INFRAMAT 2022 entitled Research Infrastructure in Support of Science, Technology and Culture will take place from September 12 to 14, 2022, in hotel "Imperial", Plovdiv. INFRAMAT is a Distributed infrastructure of centers for the synthesis and characterization of new materials and conservation, access and e-storage of archeological and ethnographic artifacts, part of the National Roadmap for Scientific Infrastructure, funded by the Ministry of Education and Science.

The INFRAMAT-2022 conference provides an opportunity to present scientific research of INFRAMAT partners and other scientific organizations using the scientific infrastructure and shows some of the expanded hardware and methodology capabilities of the distributed infrastructure. The conference program includes 20 oral presentations, 38 posters in a wide range of research areas and a Round table discussion on the prospects for the development of INFRAMAT. 70 researchers from 16 institutions in the country and abroad are participating, including the manager of the Bulgarian National Science Fund, Prof. Yury Kalvachev, the Scientific Secretary-General of BAS, Prof. Neli Koseva, and Dr. Laura Esposito, a foreign member of the Advisory Board of INFRAMAT. The conference is organized by the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the BAS, scientific and technical coordinator of INFRAMAT, and was opened by the director of the institute, Prof. Bogdan Rangelov. A final welcome was given by the Scientific Secretary-General of BAS.
