THE BULGARIAN PHARMACEUTICAL UNION GIVEN ITS ANNUAL AWARDS IN BOROVETS

For another year, on the holiday of herbalists and folk healers - Midsummer day (Еньовден), the XVI edition of the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Days 2023 was held under the title "Opportunity for Development". During the event, many interesting topics were covered in the plenary session, and companies had the opportunity to present their products in the specialized medical and pharmaceutical exhibition.

The annual awards ceremony was led by Alexander Kadiev, and the chairman of the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union, master pharmacist Dimitar Marinov, solemnly presented the awards to 7 outstanding master pharmacists from all over the country for the "Master Pharmacist of the Year" category.

The "RFK (Regional pharmaceutical college/staff/board) of the Year" prize was awarded to the Blagoevgrad Regional College of Pharmacy. The award is for the efforts made in the field of educational modules and for an active collegium in the public and media space.

- The Bulgarian pharmaceutical days are the largest forum in the field of pharmacy, which is attended by about one sixth to one fifth of the master pharmacists in the country. It is also the broadest learning forum where colleagues exchange experience, learn new practices, especially in terms of legislation and digitization. These have always been the main topics that deeply interest them. The focus this year is precisely on development opportunities. We want to introduce our colleagues, especially the youngest ones, to all the possibilities for the realization of the master-pharmacist profession, because they are very wide and much more outside the pharmacy. Pharmacies, unfortunately, have become an unwelcoming place to work. We are trying to change this trend, and this can only be achieved with a consensual, constructive dialogue together with the institutions, - the chairman of the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union, Master Pharmacist Dimitar Marinov, shared in front  of the newspaper "Capital".
