From October 10 to 12, 2024, in the heart of the capital – at the Sofia Balkan Palace Hotel – the 19th National Congress of Surgery took place.

The three-day forum marked the 90th anniversary of the organization’s founding founding and became a significant event for the professional medical community.

The scientific program included more than 200 abstracts, over 250 video presentations and video posters, as well as lectures of high scientific value and valuable practical advice.

The event brought together 400 registered participants, 93 corporate representatives, and 30 exhibiting and sponsoring companies, all contributing to its successful realization. The forum also welcomed four world-renowned surgeons who shared their extensive expertise.

The congress provided an opportunity for established professionals and young experts to exchange knowledge and best practices, while at the same time outlining the new trends and challenges facing modern surgery.
